I'm a CNA from a nursing home in ND. I've worked there for three months and I've seen alot of stuff which I don't understand. For instance is blood supposed to come out of a catheter inserted into the lower abdominal when it's been in there for quite some time? I was told it was. And is it illigal to have only three CNA, a med aid, and one nurse for over 60 residents? I love my job and my residents very much. I would hate for them not to have the care the they deserve. Could someone please clue me in.
