Hey everyone! I am graduating in a few months, and I have an offer from a very poche wellness clinic in our town. My question is, do I need to go to work at a hospital right when I graduate? Or will it be ok if I go into a clinic and work my dream job for awhile first?
Hey there. I just graduated with my RN and took my first job in a clinic. I knew hopsitals were not for me even before I started RN school. I did apply at many hospitals, interviewed, and was offered 4 different jobs in the hopsital. I didnt take any of them. When I was there, I just didnt want to be there nor care to work the shifts they offered. Im really big on quality of life. For me that means holidays and weekends off the spend with my husband. I worry sometimes about not having hospital experience. The beauty is that if it ever becomes an issue where I need to work at the hosptial I can go work at any time and gain that. I say go for which ever job suits your life style best
