Question changing careers

hello everyone,
I am a 38 yr old woman currently attending a trade school for court reporting/stenographer. My school has a 98% drop out rate & I am pretty sure I will be adding to that soon. I have always thought about nursing but thought my stomach couldnt take it. After careful consideration...I feel like I just need to do what I have always wanted. I am very nervous about starting something new, with no schooling except high school (& court reporting) this late in the game? Any comments...suggestions?

Hi and welcome!

I would start at your local college/university and talk to a counseler there. We all started where you are. For some of us the road from high school to RN is full of pre-admission testing, pre-req courses, waiting lists, etc. But if you want it bad enough, we need you and you can do this.

Good luck to you.
