Any of you who fly in an EC 135 can you help me out? Need to figure out a way to secure an Airborne H-20 isolette in the 135 but want it on a stretcher WITH legs not a wheeled litter. What manufacturer and model number do you use? What mounts do you use? What type floor so you have in the AC? I posted on Flightweb but no answer in 24 hours so unlikely to get one. HELP! We are configuring our brand new AC (first one on our area dedicated to peds/neo) and this is becoming a problem.

They build/design/retrofit medical interiors. You may have to call them and speak to someone. What does your mechanic have to say ?

We have ours on a sled. I've never seen a get up for a stretcher/isolette for the 135.

Yikes, what a PIA. Anytime an isolette is needed, the King air from Albuquerque flies in to save the day. Nice motorized ramp, lots of space, fast turboprops, the way to go IMHO. I fly in A-stars and understand that the EC 135 has a bit more room; however, patient care with an isolette must be difficult regardless of the configuration.

It's not too bad once you get loaded...plenty of room and easy access. It's just getting the isolette into and out of the hospital with whatever rickety stretcher is available at the referral. Also, you just have to hope for pavement and no hills

We are going from a BK to an EC and still have not found an isolette stretcher. We may end up with a sled, which would really stink. One would think there would be one somewhere out there. Maybe invent one and make lots of money?
