Dissertation advice regarding an idea....

hello,

Im a third year UK student nurse and at the point where I have to think about submitting a dissertation. I'm keen to do it around postop pain control/management/assessment by recovery nurses and was looking at it from the angle of whether or not pain is perceived differently by the different genders and does this play any role (subconsciously or not) in the actions of nurses and their administration of analgesia. I know there are lots of studies out there that could be relevant but not sure if this is a suitable or even sensible idea for a dissertation, therefore would appreciate any feedback from those of you who specialise in this area. Thanks in advance

Mandy
