I've had several parents that brought their babies in b/c they just won't stop crying. no fever, no n/v/d. nothing....just wont stop crying.

That was great but I think the "lost" cucumber was even better. After Doc finally fished out the remaining vegetable he wrote d'c orders - Oil and vinager douche, no more salad sex.

I can't believe that I almost forgot this one.
A woman had just been released from the local detention center for prostitution and came to the ER stating that just before she was arrested she shoved a wad of $$ up her vagina so that it would not be taken by the police. She wanted us to retrieve it for her. She also said that she had a dark colored d/c. No $$ was found. She tried to acuse us of taking it.

We had a guy come in the other night because he ran his foot over with a shopping cart....He did it at 1400hrs, and came into the ER at 0200 that night/next morning....Sad thing is, he was a bigger guy, the kind that you would avoid in a dark alley....Couldn't quite believe it, but it happens I guess

3 week old, cried for 3 hours (did you burp her?). Stopped crying and fell asleep when got in the car and drove to the hospital. Checked in anyway.

Those poor first time moms! What ever happened to the grandmas, aunts, sisters and friends who taught all of us how to raise our kids? Didn't you ever babysit, have siblings, volunteer in the church nursery? Or even read some books before you delivered?
