Talking "Tips for the ED Drug Seeker"

Just came across this website by an ER doc

http://gruntdoc.com/2005/10/tips-for...ug-seeker.html

It has other interesting things; but, I though all would appreciate this one.

Re: "Tips for the ED Drug Seeker"

saying “the only drug that works for me starts with a D…” isn’t going to make us less wary…

I wish I had for everytime I've heard that one. I'd be a rich woman. Interesting site. thanks

Re: "Tips for the ED Drug Seeker"

That was very funny! My favorite however is still "I'm allergic to all pain medications except Dilaudid". Unfortunately, I get that a lot!

Re: "Tips for the ED Drug Seeker"

If I had a dime for everytime I've heard someone say, "I'm allergic to toradol, ultram and darvocet," "the only thing rthat ever works for me is that... oh what's the name of it... oh I'm in so much pain I can't think of it right now but it starts with a D"

Used to work with a guy that would tell people upon discharge that the doctor had written them a Rx for di-law-bid... dolobid, an NSAID but made it sound like dilaudid.
