Hi,
I am new and would like to post a question but I don't know how to do it. I didn't see any instructions. I would like to hook up with an ER manager. I am a new manager of the ER and it is a new hospital that we are building. I need to locate T-sheets for both the doctors and the nurses. Could you help me with this posting?

I think you are looking for "t-System". Its a template based electronic charting sytem. Check www.tsystem.com or do a search for other software, like xpress charts

Ahh ... now I get it. We use a different software program for charting/tracking.

It's a paper flowsheet that Docs can use that is based on the pt's CC.

And to the OP - good luck with the new hospital and job! T-system is a nice start for computer-based charting!

We are switching to carecast soon, right now we have Lastword for the nurses and T-system for the docs...

Thanks is good to hear. A lot of the ED staff is up in arms because they have never had to chart their meds etc on the computer but I came from the floors so I have already been used to it--things going to change you just have to go with the flow...

Currently we start the charting for the floors in Lastword but only allergies, vitals, and all the orders for imaging, labs etc but no nursing notes or meds.
On the floors all charting except the actual doctor orders are electronic (doc orders will be electronic also when we switch to Carecast)

Never heard of T-sheets. i work in a small hospital, we use ibex in the ed, very good system, docs put in charting and orders, nurses can do complete assessment, vs, chart all meds, procedures, etc, and fairly easy to use, all current results and recent visits are also accessible. We have another system that the rest of the hospital is using, not up and running as well but has the capability to, can only get results, no doc orders or nurse charting. we have another in house system to put stuff like lab, diet and supply orders in. Otherwise, all in house stuff, dr orders, nurse charting is still all paper. Eventually all systems will be integrated into one, but will take several years, so for now, it can be a bit overwhelming.
