I am looking for a per diem ER position in the Los Angeles area. I have 1 year med surg experience and 1 year SICU (trauma, neurosurgery and liver tx) experience. If anyone knows of any available positions I would greatly appreciate your help!.

kim-
chances are that u'll want to work @ a trauma center like USC or harbor UCLA. teaching hospitals are more likely to utilize MICNs and more likely to pay for yur training...plus those are both trauma centers, and u will see lots of good cases. you will probably have to have some ER experience to be able to work @ one of those places on a PD basis. HMO hospitals will probably want the same...
