Latex allergies

I am desperately looking for information on nursing related careers for individual who have a life threatening allergy to latex. My very best friend was a NICU flight nurse before she developed a latex allergy and now is near home bound. There is no support nation wide for her and she is suffering dearly and feels very deserted after being a very fine professional. Please help me help her!!!!!!

Re: Latex allergies

Honey, I hate to tell you this but with an allergythat severe her home is most likely the place she will be most. There is a group LAGroup in Yahoos groups there are so many members with so many ideas and ways to get around even with the allergy. Sometimes to go out I must wear a respirator with big pink filters - scare the kids to death. she can sent me note in forum or to my email but please if use email put latex in subject line. Trying to keep this quick but I have 3 4" notebooks full of info.
