I just finished interviewing for a GN position in an ER, which is my 1st choice area, and hospital, and it went really, REALLY well- the director said he was really impressed with me, and that he can tell from talking to me I'm definitely an ER nurse, and that he really enjoyed talking to me. At the end he brought up pay, benefits, told me to save my receipts from my last semester of school because they reimburse me, asked what my scheduling preferences were (I said anything works for me), and was really positive about the whole thing. He said that he had 2 more people to interview and would let me know the decision on Monday.

I'm SOO excited and had to share!! As corny as this sounds, it feels like my dreams are coming true- I've wanted to be a nurse for SO long (over 10 years) and especially an ER nurse, and its all coming together!
