Nike Shox for me.

A good idea would be to go to a store that sells athletic shoes.... most have a chart or guide that shows what shoes are best for your individual needs.

Most of our dept wears either Dansko's or Crocs...myself it's Crocs all the way baby! My feet still hurt on those especially "fun" shifts however.

I think whatever works best for each individual. I've tried crocs and don't like them.

I buy whatever decent athletic shoe is on sale . . usually try to stay with New Balance.

I do refuse to go over $50 though - hence the looking for shoe sales.

(funny, I WILL spend $100 on my hair every six weeks)

Re: ER nurses...what shoes??

Hi there,
I swear by my Crocs. I bought a pair of Nike Shox when they came out paid almost $200 and they were worn out and uncomfortable in 3-4mths. I have been wearing crocs ever since. I think for $35 they are a much better investment and I can sterilize they easily!

I do PRN in the ER, and on those days i wear my Eaay Spirit walking shoes. Crocs are fine if i'm walking slower and standing in one place, other than that, i need something that stays on my feet better.
