I printed it out and posted it at work, a week later someone had reproduced it with lots of stars around it and put it in everyone's mail slot in the break room.
One of our night ED Docs made a copy of this & posted it where we in the ED could see it. It really made our day & our director sent out a Congrats on ED Nurses week, with paraphrasing from that article. LOVED IT!!!
i could send you an attachment that has the article (and a picture) of the doc. just need your email, not sure of the "protocol" involved on this forum of exchanging email addresses

I would greatly appreciate your help. My email address is trixytop4@yahoo.com Thanks very much.
This great article was circulated in our ER, posted in our breakroom and copied in our bi-weekly newsletter that we get attached to our paystubs. I never tire of reading it. Tonight I did tear up at the part of caring for the critical heart patient. That was me at midnight, not only was she critical, she was the grandmother of a co-worker.
Thank-you, Thank-you for reconizing us for the sometimes thankless jobs we do. I LOVE being an ER nurse would never do anything else but sometimes a mere thank-you means everything.
