I printed it out and posted it at work, a week later someone had reproduced it with lots of stars around it and put it in everyone's mail slot in the break room.

One of our night ED Docs made a copy of this & posted it where we in the ED could see it. It really made our day & our director sent out a Congrats on ED Nurses week, with paraphrasing from that article. LOVED IT!!!

i could send you an attachment that has the article (and a picture) of the doc. just need your email, not sure of the "protocol" involved on this forum of exchanging email addresses

This great article was circulated in our ER, posted in our breakroom and copied in our bi-weekly newsletter that we get attached to our paystubs. I never tire of reading it. Tonight I did tear up at the part of caring for the critical heart patient. That was me at midnight, not only was she critical, she was the grandmother of a co-worker.

Thank-you, Thank-you for reconizing us for the sometimes thankless jobs we do. I LOVE being an ER nurse would never do anything else but sometimes a mere thank-you means everything.
