Smile Book recommendations for new ER nurses

Hello everyone. I've already gotten many of my questions answered from your posting; thank you for the amazing insight. I'm starting soon (well, as soon as HR decides to process my paperwork ) in a level 1 trauma ER and I was wondering if you could recommend your favorite books for this field.

I'd like a good reference book to have at home and also your opinions on something small to carry around.

Oh, and last question: PDA software you like. Palm OS.

Thank you!

Re: Book recommendations for new ER nurses

There are many resources on the ENA website. I would advise you to join the organization because they are all about emergency nursing. There are some good resource books and a couple of pocket size also.
