Has anyone worked at VM? I had heard great things about the hospital but am currently working there and have had the worst experience. It could be simply me, but I am curious to see if anyone else has an opinion. You may PM if you want. Thanks... (I just haven't seen much on this forum about VMMC)

Re: Virginia Mason

I have been asked to travel there, and I would appreciate any info on the place. I don't want to end up in a bad place, especially around Christmas! Thanks!

Really not happy with 8 tele - 7 tele slightly better. I get the impression that travelers are floated first on all the units as well. I have onle met a few travelers that have been happy here.

Re: Virginia Mason

always float travelers, watch out if you have a dayshift contract, they are known for giving you a day contract then putting you on nights about a month into it just to bring in more travelers to work days then pull them to night. this is their way of getting travels. the charting system is very bad and not user friendly, they have so may "safe gaurd" AKA cover there butts, it is hard to do your job. one of the worst places I have ever traveled and when my contract ended I was out of there
