ICU consortium or ECCO?

Hi everyone,
I will be a new ICU RN and looking for any ICU nurses' opinion about ECCO or ICU consortium you have attended. I know it depends on what kind of learning person I am. I am just wondering which way would be better for new graduates and may be more informative? Thank you very much!

Re: ICU consortium or ECCO?

I did ECCO for my critical care residency at St. Clare Hospital. It was boooring. Not only that, but the website was hard to navigate (small font, monotonous voice reading things to you, not very interesting to look at, let alone spend multiple hours "learning" at).

Re: ICU consortium or ECCO?

Well, I'm not a new nurse, but I am currently going through the ECCO classes for CEU credits and I find them very boring and not very thorough. But I don't know if it's because I already know a lot of the info or not. It seems to me though, that if I didn't already know some of the stuff it would be very hard to grasp.
