I had a 4.0, but I know that not everyone in my class had one. I don't know what the average was or what the cutoff was, but I don't think it was as high as the average you needed to get into the traditional BSN program. But that's just speaking for the Dallas location... 3.7 sounds pretty good for the Fast Track program, but then again, I don't know what the competition is like in Houston.

Anyone heard from TWU houston on summer or fall 2008 status? I'm applying for the fast track and we were told we would know by the end of February.

I spoke to someone the other day. It looks like they're narrowing down the list now. I'm not going to make it because I didn't reply to their email quick enough. Make sure that you're checking your email everyday because whenever they send you one its EXTREMELY time sensitive.

Oh no, are you saying you were taken out of the applicant pool because you didn't respond to an email? If so, that is really terrible. You would think that they would at least give you a phone call in addition to the email. I have been checking my twu email daily because I saw the warning on their website about checking it daily. So what was your email about - was it an offer for admission or did they have questions about your application? Just curious.

They had a question about my net scores. Since this is not my first time applying my net scores were attached to an old application. TWU is not going to go out of their way during the admission process. It makes their job easier when they can eliminate people for simple reasons.

Did you get an acceptance letter from TWU for the accelerated program in Houston starting Summer 2008? If so, I am confused as to how you were notified before the application deadline. I wondered if your letter was from the TWU admissions office in Denton, because I received that letter in January but I’m still waiting for the letter for nursing. I got an email that said we would know our status by the end of February.
