You will find that most hospitals say they are TPAPIN friendly. but are not. It is a fact. They just find another reason to not hire you so that you can't involve the Americans with Disabilities Act.

TPAPN won't allow yo to work in any medical field...even as a CNA. Get a fun job and live life to its fullest and forget TPAPN!

Re: Tpapn

Murph-

What gives? Are you having a hard time finding a job? Need some advice?

I agree TPAPN is NOT fun, but it's doable. And "yes" it's harder to find a job, but I found one and so have other's here.

For me, it was a way to keep my license and without anything on my license. I don't always like it, but I'm doing it. I've had some rough days too. So, if there is anything that I can do, let me know. Good luck!

Re: Tpapn

Hi and thanks for your support. I truly appreciate it. I think it was the counselor I had. There was no pleasing her. I had a theft....everything I woned and missed a call in by 5 minutes. She referred me to the BON and I gave them my license on a silver platter. It has left a very bad taste in my mouth for TPAPN. I loved nursing and I was good at it. As for the drugs..My ex husband who was abusive was stalking me. I couldn't sleep at night. I did something I deeply regret so that I could rest. Now...a good career is over. I could work with the BON but to have them looking over my shoulders for 3 years??? I am 52...by the time they decided I could practiced independently I'd be ready to retire. I have to say though...that for me..the Board understood better than TPAPN. At least they listened.
