Hello Fellow Nurses...I am need of some good advice? I have been reported to BNE as abusing Nacrcs.... I left my job after 15 yrs in distraught!! They had asked me to give a Tox U/A.. I refused... I found another job and was accused of the same charge only this time i did a U/A which returned Negative of any substance. I then was forced to resigned!! Was reported to BNE and Now im in the process of having to answer to the charges put against me ?? I hav 30 days to respond... My question is what so i do? should i hire a lawyer (Not that i can afford one) should i proceed with the investigation or (with all the horror stories i am reading) electively go to TPAPN?...... Im scared i cant afford to lose my present job..can a lawyer help me have these charges dismissed? can any of these charges be beat?

Re: Tpapn?

I am so sorry about your predicament. However, we at All Nurses can't provide legal advice. I wish you the best.
