The evening group, who has mostly full time workers, graduates about 1/3 of the group the first time through (if you fail a class, stay with it and repeat as needed! almost everyone who fails makes it through as long as they don't drop out).
if you have a job that is inflexible, you will have a hard time, as many test and clinical sites start at 2pm. (yes that is the evening group). there are only limited weekend slots available.
this semster, there were NO pediatric clinicals available in the evening, so you just had to do a day clinical. I'm sure it was hard for a lot of people who were working.
many people leave their jobs and get jobs as student nurses at hospitals where they would like to get GN/RN jobs when they are done.

Hey,
well I still have testing until Thursday. But yeah I'm really happy that this semester is over!
I had such a problem to register, b/c HCC had me as an out-of-state resident! so I had to go back home and get some papers and go to the another campus closer to my house to get it fixed! I can already see that the admissions people at the coleman campus are idiots! The solution was so simple, but they couldn't do that!
Anyways I got registered for the W, Th class @ 9:30am. Now I have to figure out the whole metro system to get there, there's no way I'm driving and paying all that parking fee!

Hey yall,

I will probably register for the online class or the saturday class sometime this week. It sucks that I have to make time during my workday to pop up there but, oh well. I'm kind of iffy about the Saturday class, it is soooo... long 9a-2p? I don't know if I want to spend the entire Sat. in class. Dang it.

If anyone has anymore input about online pharm. who has maybe taken it please let me know. I have completed several online courses over the years and have done really well.

If you're self-motivated and have a proven record with online classes than there's no reason that Pharm would be any different. I've just got my books, and it looks like it'll be a lot of memorisation.

I'm not going to buy into the idea that this course is incredibly difficult until I experience it as such. Just get the texts early and make a start on the reading!!

I just finished Pharm at HCC and there were a few people that didn't make it or dropped out. I'm not trying to tell anybody what to do but after the experience I had in Pharm, it is not a class that I would take online. It is best to just take it in the classroom setting. It is alot of information and it makes it easier to process when the instructors lecture on it!!! So good Luck!!! Study hard and you will make it through!!!
