I work on an acute rehab unit in a major hospital in south Texas. Our new manager "created" a matrix for our new unit. We've opened w/a limited amt of beds due to limited staff. Our matrix calls for 1 RN/1CNA per <6pts. A lot of us think there is some kinda BNE rule or regulation stating there has to be 2 license on the floor at all times - am I and my coworkers making up regulations? If anyone knows if there is such a rule, I would really appreciate it!! Thank you SOOO much!!
