St. Christopher's in Philly

Hey everyone!!
I have an interview coming up for an OR position at St. Christopher's. Can anyone tell me anything good/bad about this facility?
Thanks!
Jess

While I haven't worked there (not in the field yet), I can tell you it has a good reputation, although it gets dwarfed by CHOP.

Horrible neighborhood though.

I did notice that, as I left my interview yesterday. I was thinking, "gee, am I glad it's 1 in the afternoon..."
Thanks for your response.

I'd apply ASAP if I were you. I waited until the last minute to apply for my first nursing job, and I ended up sorting through the stuff no one else wanted.

Thanks! A lot of people have said the same thing. By next week I hope to send out my resume to places. It is just scary, to know where you want to work and what you want to do coming fresh out of school and then you have to pass the boards!!! But your right, rather get something you like than whats left over

Good luck! And remember, there's no rule that states a nurse must work as a graduate nurse. You can always choose your test date then inform prospective employers of a start date after that.
