Hi! I took it May 4th. Two weeks ago! I am hoping to receive something in the mail soon. Some of the vocabulary words were difficult. The math was fine and some of the science seemed tough. I didnt get to review the science as much as I wanted to. Unfortunately, if I didn't pass then I wont have enough time to take a remediation course and the test again before the application deadline. So we will see what happens. I do feel postive about the test, especially since I learned it goes by the 75th percentile.

For the last two days, I have been in Salem and Northside hospital in Ohio with a family member and watching the nurses made me feel even more positive about my career choice. They touch so many peoples lives in just one shift. It's amazing! The world needs more nurses though, everyone knows that! I hope I can be a part of it!

I had to do an interview with the director since I had a previous nursing class on my transcript. But it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was really nervous though.

Hi! Congrats on your acceptance. I'm finishing my first year of the E/W program and I love it. The classes are really interesting and the faculty is great! Have you taken any of your science classes or are you going to take them at Shadyside? If you are, your first classes are Micro and Nutrition starting on Sept. 2. Micro is pretty challenging, but interesting, and Nutrition is great. The instructor is really fun and makes the class one you'll want to attend. If I can answer any questions, just let me know! BTW, I'm in South Hills.

I need to take Nutrition and Micro, but my A&P I and II and my Human Growth and Development transferred. I'm glad to hear that they are both interesting classes. I figured Micro would be interesting but nurses I work with have been scaring me telling me it's the hardest class to take and so forth. Well, they've been trying to scare me anyway. I'm up for a challenge.

Don't let people scare you! I thought Micro was a blast. Besides you'll find that which class is easy and which is hard usually depends on the individual.
