I'm an LPN student at Episcopal, which is part of Temple Health System. We were informed this morning that the school will be closing, once we finish our program in August 2007. There is an RN school as well, but I am not sure what the status of their programs are.
I am SO grateful that we'll be able to finish our program, since there are not many LPN programs left in the city. Sad, as well, since this was one of the oldest nursing programs in the country - the school was founded in 1888.
