Recommendation letter for clinical instructor (from student)

Hi all,

I need to write a letter for my teacher. She wrote one for me, so I am returning the favor. What specific information would be important? She is applying for professorship, and the letter is directed to our Director of Nursing.

Thanks!

Re: Recommendation letter for clinical instructor (from student)

hope this is not too late --- I would state that, "as a student, Mrs. ---- helped develop me professionally by guiding and coaching me in academics. She also helped me ------" Think of just one time she did or said something positive and how that made a difference to you. Taking time to explain a process? Being kind when you needed kindness but firm when you needed that? Being respectful? Just think of positive behaviors and attitudes then write about the ones that fit her. Also, don't make the letter too long. No one wants to read long letters anymore.
