A & P as a predictor of success in nursing program

several years ago, a study was performed to determine if there were any "predictors of success" for students in nursing programs.

i remember seeing the study whose conclusion was that A & P was a predictor of success. that is, there was a correlation between student academic performance in A & P and student academic performance in the nursing program.

one could expect that a student who graded poorly in A & P would probably grade poorly in nursing courses; and, would need remediation / additional support to succeed in the nursing program.

can anyone point me to that study?

Here is one I found on a web search- should be able to get the full text through your college library
Anecdotally, I see students with better A&P scores are much more successful in nursing theory

Anatomy and physiology as a predictor of success in baccalaureate nursing students.
