I am a new Clinical Educator for a Rehab In-patient unit in a hospital. I would appreciate any information, web sites, courses to help me prepare myself for my new job. I especially need info about how to write up competency check off lists, lap tests, how to keep up to date on competency, ect. I have throughly enjoyed reading this site and this is my first time to post.

hi snojean, welcome to allnurses. you should start a thread about what you are trying to find out. you are not likely to get the responses you desire because the thread you are posting on is a totally different subject.

I would think you could reference the nurse practice act for your state or the department of education website for your state to see some cirriculum frameworks. Also, other institutions in your area may have policies to read.
