Med Surg II placements---BSN

Where do your Med Surg II (junior level) BSN students do their clinical rotations? We have been going to medical/cardiac floors for years but some of the faculty now think they should be done in ICUs. This is a 5 to 7 student group with one instructor and one graduate assistant. I have doubts these students belong in ICU; they have been doing well to become fairly competent with supervision with one or two regular patients. Need advice/experience. Thanks!!
