Want to avoid this in your classroom?

Whether you have been teaching for years or are new to the world of education, you will be interested in this workshop on creative and innovative methods to wake up your students. Join us for this workshop, co-sponsored with the New York State Nurses’ Association, and learn how to incorporate teaching strategies that promote active learning. From ZZZs to Zing! No Napping in this Nursing Class, presented by Dr. Baumlein, PhD, RN, CNS, will be offered at the NYSNA headquarters near Albany. Gail will demonstrate strategies that are both innovative and practical, such as using music, role playing and even exams to stimulate students. Sprinkled liberally throughout this workshop are the pearls and pitfalls in using technology to teach today’s savvy learners. For more information and to register go to www.nln.org/profdev/Workshops/nysna/index.htm
