Hypertension education

I just got briefed on the hospital I will be working with for the next six months (inW. Africa) to find that a lot of the cases are related to Hypertension (not what I expected) and I hear they have not a lot of education materials for the patients in hospital or for discharge.

Does anyone have any particularly good resources they could point me to for educational materials that are not too "American" specific but more general??
Web sites a plus as I'm now in Paris...

Thanks!!
