New to allnurses.com and what a way to start but with a problem!!! Yeah, I love Nursing. Anyway, I currently work at a local vocational school and have been asked to open a LPN program and don't really know where to start. I have emailed IDPFR but haven't gotten much back. I have also started a feasibility study and have a fairly good curriculum already set up. But I know I have to present it to the "state" and don't really know where to go from here. Anyone out there who can help???

I'm in the northwestern/western suburbs of Chicago and am definitely interested in help!!! I'll need lots of instructor help!!! But do you know anything about the start up part?

Nope - the start-up stuff I am clueless too. However, I live near Peoria so will look at options closer to home. Good luck.
