California license is only good in CA. You will need to endorse to Oregon before you can legally begin to work.

I moved from CA to OR last year. If you go to the Oregon BON site, you will find the application and steps to endorse from one state to another. You will need to send money to Oregon to start your file, money to CA to sign the paperwork, and copies of your transcripts. Make sure you start all of this a couple of months in advance, because you have to wait for 2 states to get their acts together

I looked on the board of nursing site Ca. it says it takes 6 weeks to for them to send verification to Or., does it really take 6 weeks?

I am moving to oregon from california & sent in all my paperwork (you need to fill out a verification of license, and get transcripts from your schools)
about 6 weeks ago and still No oregon license !!
I called the board & they said its takes the California Board of Nursing up to 2 months to process the paperwork...
If I were you I would get on it !
