I applied to CHSN for Fall 2005 but was told I probaby couldn't start until 2006 because of the number of applicants. If there is anyone who is or has attended CHSN how did you like the school?
Any thoughts about Sinclair or Kettering?

I'm going to Sinclair. I absolutely love it. However...there is a wait list. It is the best in the area, according to everyone I've heard from in the medical community, so I guess that along with the fact that it's the least expensive school in the area is why the wait is so long. I've been on the wait list since last September, so it's been just over a year...and they tell me I probably won't be starting the program until next fall...possible this coming April if I'm lucky.
It's not too bad though...gives you a chance to finish up your non-nursing classes anyway.
I attended Community Hospital School of Nursing in 1996. They told us that our basic coursework would transfer when we went on to get our BSN. I quit and started going to Columbus state in 2001 and NONE of my general education courses transferred so I had to start from the beginning. Unless they have changed the way they do their general education or you do not plan to get your BSN I would be very cautious about their program.
Columbus State also has a wait list through 2006. I think that most schools are having this kind of waiting list
