Hello,

New to the Charlotte area (3 months) and currently in pursuit of applying to various schools (only need one more pre-req). I have been trying to get a position at the hospital. Nothing major just a UC position to help during school (small paycheck plus tuition assistance). It's like I need an act of Congress or something. I am a EMT-B and CNA I. I also have Med Term, ACLS, and BLS. Most of my healthcare experience is pre-hospital. I have worked mostly in clerical positions at great places (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Raytheon, Dept of Navy). I am also a veteran of the US Marine Corps. I still have found it so hard to get a job here in Charlotte. My husband is in law enforcement (parole and probation) and it's the same thing for him. We just didn't expect this. Does anyone have any suggestions?
