I handed in my application for the spring semester at Nassau Community College. This is the second time since I was declined last semester.

I applied and interviewed for Spring 2007. I am awaiting my letter of acceptance...any day now! My school is a small program offered by a local hospital.

If you are still young and have no commitments you should try a college further up. Look into Alfred State College and be sure that you want to be a nurse.

I applied to two programs for Spring 2007. I should be hearing a final decision in the next two weeks! If I do not get in, then I will begin to apply for Fall 2007

Oh good luck everyone! I am coming back to finish my ADN program after having kids and my old school wouldnt take me back in Brooklyn. I tried Nassau, Suffolk... every ******* school. I am finally going to start in Spring at SUNY Farmingdale... driving there from Brooklyn.

But itll be worth it when I'm done.

Good luck. I know what you're experiencing, I remember when I was waiting for the mail to come every day. I was convinced they would accept me with my 4.0 gpa but it turned out I got rejected. I cried, I thought it was not fair but after all I tried next semester and got accepted. I'm in the program now and just completed 103 ready for more challenge on Monday. I know that the Nursing Department in NCC has just opened an extra evening class so there are more spots. Anyway good luck!

I got the letter that I have been accepted to the Hopfer SON for Spring 2007!!! Hard work really does pay off. I am even being considered for a full scholarship! Good Luck to those still waiting to get that letter.

Thanks - I am unsure about myself getting accepted into the Spring program. If I don't I will just keep on trucking and apply for the Fall. I cannot believe that you did not get in with a 4.0. What exactly are they basing there criteria on then?
