NYU, Cornell, or Memorial Sloan??????

Hi all, I'm about to graduate with my BSN in May. I live in NJ but really want to work in the city, and possibly live there or very near by. I don't know which hospital to go for. I've heard some good and bad about NYU and Memorial. Does anyone have any input? I'm mostly concerned with nurse to patient ratios (I'm an aid in NJ and I've seen the nurses on my floor get 8-10 patients on a day shift and it doesn't seem safe for the patient or the RN's licenses), but salary information is good to know too.

Re: NYU, Cornell, or Memorial Sloan??????

NYU usually has scary nurse to pt ratios. Sloan is sometimes slack in pay.

NYP Cornell is rather nice though.
