Hello! I graduated from a bsn program about a year ago and just passed my Nclex-RN. Does anybody know which hospitals in NYC (Manhattan and the Bronx, specifically) will hire a recent grad with no experience working in the healthcare field? I'm trying to put together a resume but have nothing nursing-related to put in the area of work experience. I'm especially interested in Mt. Sinai, Columbia-Presbyterian, and Montefiore. If anyone has info on these or other nyc hospitals, I'd appreciate it so much! Thank you!

A lot of hospitals hire new grads. If you check out their websites, many of them will say that news grads are welcome. And even if they require experience, apply anyway if you are interested in working for them. Good luck!

A good way to network is to go to job fairs. Nursing Spectrum's web site usually lists upcoming job fairs. Tons of hospital recruiters are there and they do accept resumes at the event. You should contact nurse recruitment at the hospitals you're interested in. Many hospitals hire new grads and you can list your clinical experience on your resume. Good Luck!
