NORTH SHORE Plainview and Syosset

Does anyone know or have experience in North Shore University at Plainview or NSU at Syosset??? Any information about pt ratio,work environment, how long orientation is and salary greatly appreciated. Thanks

The days I've seen Plainview (my mom works there and I'm there for clinicals), on calmer days the patient/nurse ratio tends to be 7-8:1. I've seen my mom have up to ten. Not sure how it is in other departments, she works in medsurg. One of the other medsurg floors I've seen tends to have 6-7:1.
