Hi guys, so I just got hired at Montefiore in a med-surg floor right now I am in the process of doing all the paperwork. My question is how long does it take for the sterling background check for the state of NJ? I've been told it last about 3 wks which is really inconvenient because I need to be able to start in august otherwise I'll have to wait till september. Is there anything I could do to expedite this process? Please any input will be appreciated.

Unless I am mistaken-I thought Montefiore was in the Bronx NY

It is in the Bronx but I live in NJ
