Im Just Curious I wanted to know ANYONE applied and got Accepted to the City's LPN Program Brooklyn Adult learning center (BALC).... OR Mid Manhattan Adult learning Center For FALL 2008 I haven't seen Any Post on people saying that got accepted to the program. I bet Thousands Took the CNET, I was one of them but missed it by 2 points. But my Entire Percentile was over 40 percent. But oh well.....
I wonder how many people got accepted. I'm starting to think that test is just a money maker or something because you hardly hear about how many people graduate every year. FutureRNElizabeth, what are your plans? Keep applying to schools. Did you consider Allied Health in Hackensack, NJ?
One of my students in a pre-nursing program got into the NYC program and will start in September. Generally there are approx. 5000 who take the test. I can imagine how frustrating it is to miss by a few points. Any thoughts about going over to New Jersey? I heard of a few students who are in the same situation you are in and passed a different test in NJ. Otherwise, with some more study you can always reapply and try again in January.
I DID, AFTER TRYING FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS AND HAD KEEP FAILING BY 2 POINTS IN ONE AREA. THE PROCESS WAS A TOUGH ONE, FOR INSTANCE THEIR WERE ANOTER TEST TO BE TAKEN, AN INTERVIEW, MEDICAL FORMS TO BE FILLED, ETC.
bUT I THANK GOD FOR BEING ACCEPTED.
Yes, I passed the CNET exam. Also, it was required that we pass another exam called the TABE Test. Once you pass this test, they approve you to enter the program starting this september 2008. However, you must complete and submit the packet they give you. It include necessary immunizations, id, etc that they need to put into your file.
I got my letter of acceptance, however not until September 3rd will i know which center I will be attending. I am so darm excited.
Do anyone know where i can get my CPR license @ a reasonable rate? My old one expired. I need it for orientation. Thank you.
I'm the original poster. I'm excited to say I did well in the exams and now I'm accepted into the LPN program ..i have to now summit my physical and I'm ready to go!!! ....i guess this school isn't scam.
