does anybody know if VEEB nursing is very difficult to be got into? such as the high requirement and difficult pre-test/ enter test?

If you search through the threads, you will find numerous topics on VEEB. The entrance exam is easy but fast. A classmate mine told me this week that a few people have told her the test is hard if English is not their first language. I see you mentioned on a previous post that it's not so my best advice to you would be to study a GED or the CNET English portion of the book. Like I have mentioned before you have to move fast throughout the exam. The counselor at VEEB told me they test 1,000 students a year but only accept 200. Acing the test is usually the #1 option in getting in. After that is a 20 minute interview with someone from the staff and an acceptance letter in the mail. The whole process from test date to acceptance took exactly one month for me. VEEB moves very fast to fill up the 200 seats and so many people want to go to the school.

hi i recently took and pass them entrance exam in feb 2008. veeb gave me a letter saying that i passed and i must submit 2 letters of references by mar 17. i handed carried them in on march 10. i still havent got anything in the mail yet concerning my application status. when i called, the rude receptionist told me that i just have to wait for a response. does it take this long to hear back from them? who should i speak to find out what is going on with my application?

Hi, i am in the same situation as you. i took the entrance exam and i passed it easily. After, three days i received a letter in the mail to send two references letters. I send those letters after one day. Since, three weeks i did not receive anything from them. I am very anxious because i cannot wait until everything is done for the Fall 09 session. I am currently attending a Community College for my prerequisites so that for the LPN/RN i will not have a lot of core classes in my way. But, this morning i try again. i call, the receptionist tells me that my name is not on list of people missing their references letters. Danm it... a little bit of relief, it seems that Patience is not one of my virtues.

thx for posting that message. well i just going to give them until the middle of april to send a response. unitl then i will just keep checking the psots to see if anyone recieved any acceptance letters. i might just have to go down there to find out what exctly is going on. i myself is also taking some prereq's for my lpn/rn at my local community college. i just hope i get accepted into veeb cause i m tired of paying fees for the entance exams and not getting in.

I spoke to the counselor today who informed me that the next step has not begun yet so you guys are still in good shape. My suggestion is just to hang on until the entrance exam testing is done which will be very soon. I will be in clinicals for the next two weeks and will take finals the week of April 14. Our last day for this semester is April 18 so I'll have more information for you during that week. My suggestion is to NOT call or go there. You will not get any answers.VEEB is going through a stressful time right now because the main focuses are getting through the finals and putting students' attendance records together. The lady who does the testing does this too ( the counselor). So DO NOT, worry just prepare yourself to be here in September in FULL force!!! You've passed the biggest hurdle which is passing the exam. They have eliminated the interview process this year so just make sure you pass your physical exam and pay your down payment when asked. I know the anxiety gets to you. I was in the same boat last year.

Ok.. Now i am very exciting for the moment because i just receive in the mail that Veeb made the decision to welcome me in the school. I have until the Friday 11 of April to bring the deposit which a thousand dollars. I am still crossing my fingers so that everything will alright for me.

hey i just wanted to know if it was too late to summit a application and take the test at VEEB? TO START SEPT 2008?

Well, i do not know the answer for this question. The only thing i know for sure, as long as Veeb has not finished to fill all the seats, the school will continue to give the pre-nursing entrance exam. So, i will advice you to call the school first thing monday morning.
