Cool Roll call!

Ok, all you NM nurses.
How about a roll call? Tell us where you live and what you do. What do you do for fun? Kids, family?
How about a potential NM Allnurses meet?

Me? I work in Santa Fe at a LTC center on the skilled unit.
Married for (a mere) 18 years. 3 kids. Girl 16, boys 12 and 10. I have a few acres in Pecos, NM and like all outdoor stuff, camping, fishing and the like.
I work Tue-Thurs. 12's.

Hi, I'm Jackie. I live and work in Albq and have been an RN for a year now. I work 19-07 on a surgical floor-what a learning experience!! I love my job, but the politics can be frustrating (of course). As for the personal stuff-married 3 years, 2 fabulous dogs, no rugrats!!

No longer in NM, but my thoughts tend to drift there.

Worked for five years as a trauma ICU nurse at UNMH.

I will be spending the month of July in Shiprock.

If you have a meeting in July, I will try and attend.

My heart has always been "in the land of enchantment"; name the place and time and I will do all I can to attend.

I actually may be going to Santa Fe next week for a couple of days (if it works out I will be sure call you Russ).

Roll Call...............Present

Good morning (0345)........yup, a noc nurse. I'm also an outdoors enthusiast. I'd rather fish than.................work (who wouldn't). I'm a psych in Corrections. 5 kids, 3 g-kids, 3 cats, 1 dog, 1 bird and 1 snake.........a regular Noah's Ark. Scheduled for 4 tens, but usually work an extra shift each week..........I have no life..............but fishing season is here, so just need to plan a few and carry it out.

May I count myself in two states? Hope so, cause I am going to! I actually now live North in Colorado but will be going to Albuquerque nest week (as it turns out). I love AGency Nursing and plan to work with NurseFinders next week; they mentioned maybe Pres. will have some needs... let's see if I get called. So far, no bookings.

I graduated from TVI in "98" and UNM in 2001.. whew... glad that is over! I regularly visit Albuquerque to see family. I can hardly wait to have Barrella's chile next week.

I love being with my two teenagers (most of the time). We just got a German Shepard mixed male puppy and have a small black cat.

I wish I could remember what my hobbies are but I do love to hike and garden. I am especially glad spring has sprung and look forward to planting some pansies this weekend!

aahhh.new mex......born and raised, moved away for several years, then moved back to Albuquerque for 7 years. Living there no longer, but enjoy thinking about the land of enchantment. Worked agency there off and on, worked UNMH in ER, stayed away from Lovelace but all in all it was a wonderful place and a wonderful experience. It was home.......

Eastern New Mexico here

I am in Clovis, in an ADN program at the community college here. I just finished the first year (LPN) and will be working at the hospital here in town. In the fall I will return for my RN. Hopefully next summer will be moving to Lubbock, TX and do my RN-BSN through Texas Tech. I have five kids, three at home, four grandkids, two cats and a wonderful husband. I don't really have hobbies, but my husband loves riding his VTX Honda 1800.....I'm too chicken any more to ride on the back.
