Re: UMDNJ Accelerated BSN Program
I just started there in January 2007 on the BSN/MSN and will be done by May 2008 with the BSN part which is full time. I have classes/clinicals 4 days a week with most of the days going from 8 am to 4 pm. While on the BSN part 3 MSN courses are included so that if you do decide to sta on or go back to UMDNJ for your MSN, you would not have to do them. The MSN, depending on your area of specialty can be started after your BSN either ft or pt, except in the case of Acute/Critical Care and CRNA where you need at least 2 years ICU experience
The program is very doable but, you are going to have to put a lot of things on the backburner while you are in it as there is a lot of work to cover in 15 months. In my 1/07 class we are approximately 65.

a lot of the questions you have can be answered there and should be up to date. The Gpa required is at least a 3.0 from your prior degree. You also have to complete all the pre-reqs with a minimum gpa of 2.75
I know they had a couple of information sessions recently but interviews for the accelerated program is not something I believe they do.
If you have more specific question let me know.
