New student in the LPN day program at the Medford campus. Anyone around to share some story time with me? What did you love, what did you hate? Did you have Doc-W for A&P? How about the nursing instructor?

I just graduated from BCIT Westampton....Do you work at NLDC?

I graduated from BCIT years ago, and I live in Browns Mills. Ms Flynn and Dougerty were my instructors. How is the program coming along?

Medford class of 2005! Ms C & Mrs. D. I wonder if they quit smoking yet!! Ha Ha. They would always let us out of clinicals early because they needed to smoke!

But seriously, I attended the day program at Medford and I LOVED it. Apart from dealing with the high schoolers, it was great. I can't say enough good things about their program and the price was good too.

Very few dislikes: Had to get up VERY early to be at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton by 6:50. Dealing with high schoolers like I mentioned. Getting mistaken for them too (like where's your hall pass? why do you have jeans on?) Other than those minor things it ROCKED!

I'm half through the online program at Excelsior College. Hoping to get my RN in another year or so. I'm working private duty homecare so I have lots of time to study.

Elektra6, what area are you in? I am in the Browns Mills area. I know of a new nursing agency that is starting up and they are looking for people.

I'm so sorry I haven't updated! Classes are keeping me uber busy and I work a full time job at the moment too. I'm going to the Medford campus as well and have Ms. C and Ms. D. They are awesome! A lot nicer than Dr. W made them out to be for sure! lol. I'm not so sure about mrs. beverly though, she kinda scares me haha.

Right now we're going through fundamentals. I'm really learning a lot! It's so interesting and exciting to think I'm finally beginning to think like a nurse.

Funniest thing happened to me today. After I had got back from lunch (pizza from that place near the dunken donuts) I decided to go to the bathroom since I had a few extra minutes. So if you remember, I closed the door behind me with the sign so it said "closed" and locked it. I did my business and when I was getting done I heard someone banging on the door like they couldn't figure out if it was locked or not. I thought it was my classmates messing with me since we joke around a lot (it's like a big familly really... except for the black sheep who we caught cheating but couldn't prove it) so in a way that they would know that i was joking I said in a somewhat serious tone "IT SAYS CLOSED FOR A DAMN REASON! JESUS *bleep*".


I open the door.

I see Ms. D looking at me like I had just kicked a puppy. I felt SOOOOOO embarassed!

After class I explained the situation and she just pretended she didn't hear anything lol.
