UNLV no longer has a waiting-list -- they do an application process based on your G.P.A. (different than the points system at CCSN). So, depending on your G.P.A. will decide when you can be admitted to the program. Furthermore, at UNLV you need to have taken at least 12 credit-hours from the university to be eligible for admissions into their nursing program.
ALL pre-nursing classes must be completed before appyling to the BSN program. Goto

UNLV is trying to make their admissions more strict because they are trying to weed out those students who clearly shouldn't be entering the profession, and to increase the competitiveness of their program. For instance, you need to have complete A&P I, A&P II, Microbiology, and College Algebra with at least a 'B' or better within your first two attempts of the class. You need to have a 'C' in all of your other classes. You also need at least a 3.0 to be a candidate for their program.
