Would this hurt your chances of being accepted into CRNA school??

I have a long way to go..I'm only working in my ASN now, but I hope, in the future to go onto CRNA school. I am considering doing CLEP for a few of my support classes like College Algebra, History, etc. but I'm just wondering if this would have any affect in the future if I do decide to try to grt into CRNA school? Anyone have CLEP on their transcript and if it had any affects on you getting into / or not getting into school? Thanks in advance.

Amy

I did 2 CLEP exams in my BSN program (I had already done the courses at another university years before but they did not transfer). No one even mentioned it. I say, go ahead and CLEP some of the support classes. Just check with the CRNA programs you are interested in and ask them if they care if you CLEP or not.

I clepped a class in my undergrad BSN & I was accepted into the only school to which I applied (Georgetown). The anesthesia schools are looking at your critical care experience & your GPA. Keep in mind: the average acceptance rate is roughly 25% at a given school. So logically, if you apply to more than 4 schools, you have a good chance of getting in somewhere, all things being equal.
