It depends on the school. My graduate program required a total of 1000, so you would have been OK. Also, some programs will admit you with a lower than "required" GRE score on a probationary basis.

If you decide to take it again, do some prep first.

Prep

I memorized around 1500 words for the Verbal section.... I honestly saw about 3 on there... these were Kaplans and Princetons recommended words... The verbal sucks..... no problem with quantitative

Well, how are your other credentials? GPA, experience, ect. There is a lot more to getting in than just GRE scores. I only got a 500 verbal and a 410 quantitative (yep, I'm a math retard) and I got into 2 schools. My GPA was a 3.9 however!

I don't remember where I read it, but 1000 cumulative was acceptable. Also, keep into consideration that most GREs are required by the college you are applying to (the anesthesia program may not care too much about the scores). In other words, it's part of the formal process of applying, but the anesthesia school looks primarily at GPA, and nursing experiences. I've done a lot of personal research about applying to schools. When you are interviewed, elaborate on all of your experience. Your credentials are incredible, they inspire me! I can't wait to learn more about what appears you have mastered. I think you are going to be a shoe-in. Please, have some faith in yourself as a nurse.

Why does everyone with these fabulous credentials go and second guess themselves so much? Heck, my credentials weren't all that, and I got in after only being a nurse for 8 months. The worst that they can say is "no", and then you reapply. So just go ahead and apply already, you'll get in!!!
