Wesleyan Interview

Happy New Year to all!

Ok, here it goes. I will have an interview with Wesleyan around last week of January.
I am posting to ask for insights on the interview process/contents. So for those who are in the program and for those who interviewed, any insights?
I need help. Thanks.

xigris,
i haven't interviewed yet, but i've got several friends who have and i'm told that the interview committee 'tailors' your interview to fit your back ground, ie. if you're a cardiac icu nurse they are not going to ask you a bunch of neuro questions, etc. i'm also under the impression that you need to know you're abg's. EVERYONE i've spoken with has gotten a question about abg's and how to correct them. i myself have been reviewing by studying for the CCRN as well (which from what i understand is a BIG plus). where are you wanting to do your clinicals, if i may ask? also, how long after you submitted your application did it take to hear you got an interview ? i myself have applied to TWU and am anxiously awaiting that letter !!! hopefully we'll be classmates come this time next year !!! best of luck to ya.

Hi,

I sent my application letter around 3rd week of December. My recommendation letters were delayed. All two letters came around January 5.
I called them today and was informed that interviews are done evry Tuesdays. I am doing mine on Feb 10. instead of Jan 29.
I chose Fort Worth, Dallas and Shreveport ( since I live in Longview, TX ).
I hope we get in. Lenee told me that they will start sending acceptance letters around April. That's a long wait.

T.
