Starting to Look for a New Position

I am currently on a contract until September 1, 2003 here in Wichita Kansas. I like my job, but have been putting in way too many 65-75 hour work weeks. I will begin searching in earnest for a position sometime after January 1, 2003. Though I will work with a headhunter, I'd also be interested in dealing more directly with anesthesia groups to find more of what's out there.

I'll be looking in some of the more southern states. I am interested in South Carolina, Georgia, or anywhere where it stays fairly warm. However, for the right position and the right offer, I'll consider almost anywhere.

If any of you know of positions, please PM me with the name of the group or hospital (though my preference is to work for an anesthesia group) and a point of contact, if possible. Thanks.

I know the hospital where I am working currently is always looking for more CRNA's..... However, it is not quite warm here right now!!! Might be a little too up north for ya....

Good luck with the job hunt.

Kevin,
I know of a pretty good job. It is farther north of where you are now, not south. There are currently 2 CRNAs looking for a third. You would be an immediate partner. Total fee-for-service. No anesthesiologist. Low cost of living, excellent hunting, excellent fishing nearby.

Let me know if you are interested. Obviously must be able to practice independently.

Unfortunately, I cannot access my email program at present, and don't know when I will get time to fix it. Can you please PM me the information? Thanks.
