Question about the upcoming AANA conference in August

2 questions. 1) Are there any newly-accepted SRNA ( those who start in august 2005) going this august? 2) Should I just wait until next year to go?

Okay I lied.....3) How much of a benefit will it be to me since I haven't started school yet? Don't want to spend the money if everything is going over my head as far as info.

IMHO it is never too early to start w/ AANA. The contacts you will make by attending one meeting will be worth every expense....GC

Sigma, you said in the prep course thread that we should be relaxing and not thinking about school?

Personally, I'd rather go next year, when I understand some stuff and feel like part of the action. I think I'd feel like an observer in the OR, who's present but on the outside. I don't think I'll be as interested or engaged as I will a year from now.

Not to mention I'm moving cross-country in August!

Anybody starting this august going?

Who else from the Class of 2007 is going to the conference? I rather go to DC this year than Cleveland next.
